The Air & Space Force’s Association (AFA) Wright Memorial Chapter (WMC) is honored to welcome Colonel Robert A. Volesky, as our distinguished guest speaker at the upcoming luncheon on Wednesday, 14 October 2026. 

Col. Robert A. Volesky is the Chief of the T-7 Red Hawk Division, Training Directorate, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. In this capacity, he is the Senior Materiel Leader, T-7A System Program Manager, overseeing a 180-member team responsible for the development, production, and deployment of the $11.9 billion T-7A Red Hawk acquisition program.

Col. Volesky is a graduate from the Air Force Academy with a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University and a Master’s degree from the prestigious Air Force Test Pilot School. He has held several positions in engineering and program management including operational planner, electronic warfare research and development engineer, F-22 flight test, and Air Staff Program Element Monitor. Col Volesky has held several command positions as Materiel Leader, F-35 Modernization Program, Commander AFRL, Det 7 Rocket Lab at Edwards AFB, and Commander of the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Palmdale Contract Management Office. Col. Volesky has accumulated over 260 flying hours as officer aircrew in 30 different aircraft systems.
