AFA is proud to offer $250 grants to Civil Air Patrol (CAP) units to advance aerospace education and STEM initiatives for cadets and outreach initiatives. AFA’s grant support to CAP units helps inspire interest in youth across the nation toward science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) subjects and careers.
Grants are issued twice a year. Deadlines are June 30 and December 31 each year. For more information and access to applications, please visit the Air & Space Forces Association National Grants For Education page: https://www.afa.org/grants-for-education/.
AFA WMC is proud to support the next generation of aerospace leaders through our CAP Cadet Scholarship Program.
Each year, our chapter awards a scholarship to an outstanding Civil Air Patrol cadet who has demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, character, and a commitment to serving their communities. The scholarship is intended to help cadets pursue higher education and continue their journey toward future careers in military service, aviation, engineering, science, technology, or other related fields.
We encourage eligible Civil Air Patrol cadets to apply during our annual scholarship cycle. Scholarship eligibility requirements, application instructions, and deadlines can be found on our Scholarships page.
The Wright Memorial Chapter is honored to invest in the future of our CAP cadets and recognize their dedication to leadership, service, and excellence.
